Phillip Feldman, former CA State Bar Prosecutor, presently defends lawyers in that jurisdiction and consults with lawyers in all jurisdictions for discipline, ethics, complaints and preventative law.
He has 40 years in the field, is board certified in legal professional negligence by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys on behalf of the American Bar Association and California Board of Legal Specialization.

He is a well recognized PROBLEM SOLVER who appreciates the stress lawyers are subjected to when they have to "switch gears" and defend themselves from charges which vary from improper to a great deal more than slightly plausible. Long before California adopted its Attorney Diversion & Assistance Program, he aquired the education needed to guide lawyers with substance abuse (including alcoholism) and/or emotional issues. ( DSM IV-R no longer misuses the term "mental " disorders. ).  His hands- on defense of juveniles and criminal defense of persons charged with "possession", "deuces" and professionals with emotional issues gave him his basic training.  His board certification in professional negligence-medical and years of litigation in that field gave him the "know how" to deal with issues attorneys face today.  Even though California offers alternative "punishments" to lawyers and not the "alternative to punishment" he was used to in criminal defense, his skills are brought to bear to maximize the potential for REHABILATATION & DIVERSION for his clients.  With few exceptions ALL HIS CLIENTS ARE LAWYERS.
